The Italian Delegation Pilgrimage on 10th March 2016
On the
sunny day of March 10th in a cool-chilly weather the Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of
Christians of St. Teresa of the Child
Jesus Italian Delegation, observed a day
of prayerful- march, to the Holy
Door of Turin Cathedral, where Holy
Shroud is conserved. Our Pilgrimage
began with Holy Mass at 9:30 in the sisters’ chapel at Crocetta Turin celebrated by Don Testa the Rector of
Theological Seminary of Turin.
During the mass, special prayer was offered for the departed souls of the mother of Sr. Marta, Sr.
Lucy Augustine and Sr. Rani Annem. During homily Don Testa heighted the
compassion of God against our human waywardness, in keeping with the theme of the Jubilee year of Mercy. 
Right after the mass we proceeded to the Sanctuary
of our Lady of Consolata, there we had the opportunity of making good confessions and spent quality time before the Blessed
Sacrament. From the Sanctuary of our Lady of Consolata we marched towards the Cathedral to pass the Holy Door and to receive
holy indulgence. Here we spent time praying for various intentions before the
Blessed Sacrament and before the Holy Shroud. Then at 12:30, we had lunch in the restaurant
celebrating our fellowship . After we departed to own respective places.
